BEQ Privacy Policy (“Policy”)

Effective date: September 15, 2026

Version: 1.0

This Privacy Policy explains how BEQ handles personal information when you visit beqsystem.com (“website”), contact us or book a BEQ appointment. Information collected during an in-person assessment is covered by a separate privacy notice provided as part of the assessment process.

1. Who is responsible for your information

ambitas, s. r. o., Company ID 45 280 380, with its registered office at Ševčenkova 25, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovakia ("BEQ", "we", "us" or "our"), is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy.

Privacy contact: support@beqsystem.com

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the website, respond to you and arrange a booking:

Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment details are entered directly through Stripe, and BEQ does not receive or store full payment-card details. BEQ receives only the information necessary to confirm and administer the payment, including refunds where applicable. Stripe processes personal data in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

3. Why we use it

For individuals in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on the legal bases set out in Article 6(1) of the GDPR, including steps taken before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website, and consent where required. For individuals in Canada, we process personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws, including British Columbia’s PIPA, for identified and reasonable purposes and with consent where required.

4. Children and bookings for minors

BEQ services are intended for players aged 10 and older. A booking for a minor must be made by a parent or legal guardian using an adult's contact email. We collect the minor player's name and date of birth to confirm eligibility and administer the booking. Additional information needed for the assessment will be requested separately and explained before it is collected.

5. Who receives the information

Access is limited to BEQ personnel and service providers who need the information to operate the website or booking process. This may include website hosting, booking, email, security and payment providers. We also use Google Analytics, but only after analytics consent has been given. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights, safety or security. We do not sell personal information.

6. International processing

BEQ operates from Slovakia and provides services in Slovakia and British Columbia, Canada. Some service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or other safeguards for international transfers. Privacy laws and lawful government-access rules may differ between countries.

7. How long we keep it

Information from an incomplete booking is normally deleted within 30 days. Confirmed booking and routine customer-contact records are normally kept for three years after the service or the last substantive contact. We may retain particular records longer where required for accounting, legal claims, fraud prevention or another legal obligation. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. Cookies and Google Analytics

Essential technologies are used to make the website and cookie controls work. They cannot be switched off through our consent tool. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the website. Analytics is optional, is disabled by default and is activated only after you choose Accept or enable Analytics under Manage Cookies. If you choose Reject, Google Analytics will not be activated.

We do not use website cookies for personalized advertising. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Manage Cookies link available on the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Google processes analytics information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Slovak Data Protection Authority, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or another competent privacy authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Security and changes

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No online system is completely secure. We may update this Policy when our website, booking process or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will always be published on this page.
